Inverter vs Non-Inverter AC in Ghana: Which Saves More Money?

Air conditioning is often the single biggest item on a Ghanaian electricity bill. The choice between an inverter and a non-inverter AC decides how big that bill gets.

How they differ

Which saves more money?

If you run the AC for long periods, such as all night in a bedroom or all day in an office, an inverter AC usually pays back its higher price through lower electricity use. If the AC runs only an hour or two a day, a non-inverter model can be the cheaper choice overall.
